Welcome to my Rick Savage Webpage, This is a small bio of Rick,
When Rick was a teenager, all he ever wanted to do was play soccer.
Rick was a huge fan of Sheffield Wednesday, but since they were at the bottom of the league
and Sheffield United had championship prospects,
he followed his head, instead of his heart and joined Sheffield United.
He played with them for two years as a center forward, before he was dropped from the team.
He admits to not playing to the best of his ability.
He was two months short of leaving his school, Tapton Comprehensive,
when he parted ways with Sheffield United. Now he had two choices.
He could accept one of the many offers from several of the other football teams or he
could pursue his blossoming love of music. Music won out.

This Part of my website is my dedication to Rick Savage
who in my eyes, Is the best bass player ever.
Rick is the bass player for the group Def Leppard,
he has been with the group since they started back in the late 70's
Rick is the only original member of the group besides Joe Elliott.
After 25 years Def Leppard, In my eyes, is still one of the best groups,
They still rock!!!
They have always cared about their Fans.

In 1994 Rick developed Bell's Palsy,
Bell's Palsy is facial paralysis, normally affecting one side of the face - In most cases (approx 80%) the condition recedes after 3 months though for a proportion of sufferers the symptoms can continue for longer and in extreme cases indefinitely. Most patients suspect they have suffered a stroke when first faced by it's effect and a visit to the doctor helps alleviate their fears.

Information about Bells Palsy came from
